What we collect
When you send the quote form, call, text or email, we receive the details you give us: usually your name, phone number, email address, the job postcode, a description of the work, and any photos.
How we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out work you ask for, and keep the records a business needs, such as quotes and invoices. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing lists.
Where it's kept
Enquiries sent through this website, and any photos, are stored on our website host, Krystal Hosting, and emailed to our own mailbox. Photos are kept privately and are never shown on the website.
To stop automated spam, the quote form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical information about your browser to tell people from bots. We don't store your IP address with your enquiry; a scrambled version is kept for up to two days to limit repeated sending.
The price calculator
When you use the calculator, we count anonymously how it's used: for example that an estimate was shown, or which postcode district (such as BH8) was checked. We don't store your IP address or full postcode, and the calculator doesn't use cookies or save anything on your device. These counts are deleted after 12 months.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead, and their photos, are deleted after 24 months. Details for work we carry out are kept as long as needed for accounts and any guarantee or follow-up.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by emailing info@charminsterfencing.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
